Outstanding help. Great asset to community.
I've had to come here a couple times to get various vaccines for my baby that the doctor's office ran out of or doesn't get in. They're very helpful over the phone and in the office. The people I worked with were very kind in their interactions with me and my baby.
PLEASE READ>> As a Las Cruces resident, I had no idea what this building had to offer. This year I did a clinical rotation as a nursing student and really got to explore the SEVERAL programs the Department of Health had to offer. Each program director is extremely passionate about what they do and very supportive of the community. The thing I noticed while doing a community survey was that A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THEIR PROGRAMS!! They offer WIC, free STD screenings, Birth Control and emergency contraceptives, the Needle Exchange, Planned Parenthood, the Narcan opioid overdose program and training, a BOTANIST who helps with gardening questions, they offer the iCAN program for people seeking jobs, they offer PREP and PEP for HIV prevention, and MUCH MORE. Give them a call or visit and ask about their programs (: My name is Matthew

Helpfully
Don't forget, here is where you have to go to in order to get your birth certificates.
Wonderful place. The nurses are so nice. Very professional and helpful. Scheduling appointments on the phone is easy. There is a bit of a waiting time but its hardly a problem. I used to go to the NMSU health center and that place is horrible. Many bad experiences at the NMSU health center.
